Cam Petty jumped right in: “I’m the bottleneck to my company.”

After nearly 7 years at Goodshuffle, it’s probably the most common bottleneck I see hurting a business’s ability to grow: you, the owner. You built the business. You know the inventory, you hold most of the client relationships, and all of that means more lands on your plate than anyone else’s.

Your constraint might be you. Cam’s fix isn’t more hours. It’s getting things off her plate, and that comes down to systems and SOPs that quietly went stale while the company grew. Her words: things worked for a while, then you grew, and now they don’t.
